Business Continuity.

For us at IDnow it is important to provide a safe and healthy environment for our employees and ensure business continuity in service of our customers, partners, and other stakeholders. We have taken precautionary measures and have a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan ready for all potential scenarios of a restriction of our service.

We are in close contact with the authorities on possible adjustments to the regulatory framework in order to flexibly adapt our processes for all eventualities.

Home Office is not new to us at IDnow – many teams have been using the option very successfully and efficiently for a long time already. Some employees even permanently work remotely. Currently, all employees who are able to work from home are doing so.

We are preventing a shortage of operational personnel, responsible for processing identification requests, by diversifying to 11 call center locations. Our call centers are located in different cities in Germany and Europe. A special distribution process enables us to allocate the incoming identification requests to different call centers. Accordingly, the impairment of a call center does not lead to a disruption or interruption of service.

Remote Onboarding/KYC.

Digital services are in greater demand than ever before. Many people currently have to switch to digital services due to nationwide curfews, which increases the pressure on companies to digitize processes.

IDnow offers easy and fast remote onboarding, a completely digital process for customer verification with the highest security standards. With IDnow’s KYC solutions, people can open a bank account, provide a signature or apply for a loan simply, quickly and from home.

Digital Contract Signing (QES).

Many companies are currently restructuring existing manual processes. Digital signatures such as IDnow eSign make it possible to conclude contracts online in a few minutes without the need for additional hardware. Instead of the required handwritten signature, a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) is created, which has the same legal value.

In addition to high conversion rates, maximum security and legal conformity, the electronic signature also offers numerous advantages for the end user. They can conclude a contract within a few minutes, be geographically flexible and without direct, physical contact with an employee, and, use the corresponding service immediately. For example, a loan application can be concluded in a few short moments without being harboured by location or direct contact limitations.
